Join expert wildlife guide Nick Patel for this engaging and informative online workshop. This session will be perfect for anyone interested in learning how to spot and identify birds, whether you’re a complete beginner or simply looking to refresh your birding skills.
Focusing on birds commonly seen in early spring, the session will begin with essential tips and techniques from Nick for identifying birds by their calls, flight patterns, habitats, and behaviour.
Through a step-by-step approach, Nick will help you build your birdwatching confidence, including practical advice on making the most of binoculars and other equipment.
Towards the end of the session we will take a 20 min break for participants to apply their new skills with some garden and street spotting. We’ll then come back together to share sightings and discuss further.
