60 years of Frome Museum

Frome Museum’s 60th Anniversary Exhibition traces the development of the museum from its early days on Church Steps, through its subsequent premises in Wine Street, to its present iconic listed building on North Parade. We also cover the North Parade building, built in 1859 for the Frome Literary and Scientific Institution. The exhibition includes a selection of early Lit & Sci archives that have never previously been displayed.
