Sumo Cyco – Live at the Tree House

Canadian genre-smashing rock outfit Sumo Cyco collide heavy metal riffs, punk attitude, infectious pop hooks and flashes of reggae, dancehall and electronic music to create a sound built for maximum impact.

Fronted by Skye “Sever” Sweetnam, the former teen pop star who reinvented herself as one of alternative rock’s most distinctive frontwomen, Sumo Cyco have developed a fiercely loyal international following through explosive live shows and their vivid, self-created world of “Cyco City”.

Since emerging in 2011, the band have taken their high-energy show to stages including Download Festival and Warped Tour, while touring alongside acts including Jinjer, Buckcherry and Nonpoint. Their catalogue spans Lost In Cyco City, Opus Mar, Initiation and 2025’s Neon Void, a record that pushes their collision of metal, punk, pop and alternative rock even further.

Wild, theatrical and impossible to neatly categorise, Sumo Cyco are a band built for the live stage, huge hooks, crushing riffs and relentless energy.
