Thanda Choir

Thanda Choir are a community-based organisation in Makhaza, South Africa founded in 2023. It provides township youth with opportunities to develop their talents in music and the arts,offering an escape from the dangers of crime. The choir blends traditional South African sounds with contemporary influences, creating music that is deeply unifying and meaningful whilst inspiring global audiences.

The mission of Thanda Choir is to empower young people through the transformative power of music. They provide a nurturing space where youth can develop their voices, build confidence, and cultivate meaningful connections with others. Through music and collaboration, they inspire personal growth and leadership, equipping young individuals with the skills to overcome challenges and create positive change in their communities. This event has a minimum age requirement of 10. Attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
