Join Tamsin, Vallis Farm’s Head of Land and Learning, for a practical, hands-on introduction to no dig vegetable growing, perfect for beginner growers and anyone curious about working with – rather than against, the soil.

In this friendly, half-day course, we’ll explore the principles and benefits of the no dig approach, and why it’s transforming small-scale growing around the world. We’ll walk you through real-life examples in our thriving market garden, showing the difference it makes in both productivity and soil health.

Expect to learn about:

  • The advantages of no dig
  • How to build a no dig bed
  • How to propagate vegetables successfully
  • Multi-sowing and successional planting for easy growing in a smaller space
  • Companion planting and pest management without using chemicals

Which veg is best for you, if you’re short on time, want to get your kids interested or want to go as self sufficient as possible – we can help you choose the best veg to grow.

Cost: £60
