SUMMARY:Permaculture Volunteer Day at 42 Acres
DESCRIPTION:An invitation to spend a half-day working with our team in our permaculture produce garden. Learn regenerative growing skills whilst actively contributing to our permaculture projects. \nThe day is designed to be an enriching experience working with us on tasks ranging from creating living willow structures to building hugelkultur beds\, from threshing quinoa to sowing and harvesting fruit and veg. There will be an opportunity for meditation\, sharing and nature connection. \nAt 1pm we will end with a simple shared lunch provided by 42 Acres (think nourishing soup and bread). Afterwards\, you’re welcome to stay and explore our land or take a wild dip in our lake. \nPlease Note: \n-These sessions run on the 1st Wed of every month\, Apr-Sep.\n-Booking opens 30 days in advance. It is not possible to book further ahead.\n-Gloves and wellies/good boots are necessary.\n-Lunch is provided.\n-No experience needed\, just a can-do attitude!\n-If you have issues with mobility please let us know before signing up\, we will do our best to accommodate.\n-These are working exchanges so please be prepared for this and arrive promptly.\n-We kindly invite you to come for the whole session to get the most out of the experience and cultivate good connections within the group.\n-Please speak with your licensed medical health professional if you have any health conditions or are pregnant.\n-As much as we love our four-legged friends\, we can not allow dogs on this experience. \nLocation & Arrival: \nPlease arrive 10 minutes before we begin. DESCRIPTION:The breath is a powerful tool; it can positively affect the mind\, body\, and spirit. \nJoin our workshop to discover transformative breath techniques that you can weave into everyday life. Whether you seek a quick reset or want to improve your energy levels\, these practices become a supportive companion whenever you need them.\nThe session begins with gentle yoga postures that warm the body\, cultivating flexibility and freeing the breath\, effortlessly transitioning into a seated practice\, where comfort is ensured with blocks or chairs provided on-site\, allowing you to fully immerse in the experience. You’ll then be guided through breathing techniques (prāṇāyāma) using postures and sitting. \nPlease come in warm and comfortable clothing. If you have a yoga mat and a blanket\, please bring them with you. (a few spare mats available) There are chairs available. \nDate: Saturday 17th January 2026 \nTime: 10-11.30am \nCost: £16 \nNo of places: 8 \nWe never want cost to prevent anyone attending our events so please reach out to the class practitioner if you require a subsidised ticket \nBiography \nYuka Krantz is a yoga practitioner based in Frome\, driven by a passion for helping people bring greater awareness into their lives through yoga. Since 2014 she has guided students of all abilities to reconnect with their bodies using simple movements and breath work\, no matter their physical or mental circumstances. Over the past six years\, Yuka has supported hundreds of clients at Amchara Health Retreat\, offering tailored yoga postures\, meditation sessions\, and one‑to‑one yoga‑therapy work.Things to bring: Please wear warm\, comfortable clothing. A blanket is generally useful toward the end of the class. The workshop lasts 90 minutes\, and a chair will be provided.
