Drop in to see their work\, chat about their craft\, and join pop-up workshops throughout the day. \nStorytelling & Live Music\nLet little imaginations run wild with nature based tales and get your toes tapping along to local musicians. \nFood and Drink\nAs always we’ll be championing great food grown/reared locally and homemade here at the farm. DESCRIPTION:Charles Dowding is coming to The Village Frome for a special two-hour workshop on no dig growing. \nFor more than 40 years\, Charles has been exploring how we can grow healthy\, abundant food while disturbing the soil as little as possible. His no dig approach is rooted in a simple idea: feed the soil from the surface with compost and organic matter\, then allow its extraordinary web of life to do the work beneath. \nDuring this workshop\, Charles will share the foundations of no dig growing\, including how to create and maintain productive beds\, work with compost\, manage weeds and grow more food with less time and effort. \nWhether you have an allotment\, a vegetable patch\, a community garden or simply the beginnings of an idea\, this workshop will offer practical knowledge and encouragement for growers at every stage. \nAt The Village\, we are creating a place where people can gather\, learn and rebuild a relationship with the land and with one another. We are delighted to welcome Charles to share his experience as our own community growing spaces continue to take root. \nWith support from The National Lottery Community Fund\, we are able to offer tickets on a sliding scale of £3\, £6 or £9. Please pay what you can. Every ticket helps us continue growing The Village and creating more opportunities for people to learn\, gather and connect with the land. \nPlaces are limited and advance booking is essential. If you book and later find that you cannot attend\, please cancel your ticket so we can offer the place to someone else. \nThe Village is an outdoor\, land-based site\, so please come dressed for the October weather and wear suitable footwear. DESCRIPTION:Women have been gathering under the full moon forever so join me for a wild swim and sauna under the stars and full moon (moon sighting not guaranteed but we’ll feel her energy whatever the weather!) We’ll meet outside the farmhouse and then have an hour together in a private sauna and swim session with a full moon ritual and intention setting. Swimming in the dark is a truly magical experience and extremely empowering.
