DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce……The BIG Frome FM Summer Fundraiser! \nJoin us for a massive community celebration as we raise funds to upgrade our studio from analogue to digital — and keep Frome FM on air! \nThere’ll be vinyl stalls\, live local bands\, Frome FM DJs\, food\, and a bar all day. \nFrome FM Family Discovery afternoon — 1pm to 5:30pm | Entry by donation\nA relaxed\, feel-good afternoon for all ages. Learn more about Frome FM\, have a go at making your own radio show\, grab a bite to eat and peruse the vinyl stalls. \nCome as you are\, give what you can. \nEvening party — 6pm to late | £7 tickets From 6pm the party kicks up a gear with Free Monet headlining\, plus a heap of Frome FM DJs keeping you dancing until late. \nEvery penny raised goes towards our move to digital — supporting community radio in Frome for years to come. We can’t wait to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:The Elizabethan Evening is a much-loved annual outdoor theatre event in the village of Corsley supporting local charities. \nThe event has raised almost £90\,000 to date and this year we’re supporting Frome College Young Carers and the Youth Adventure Trust. \nHelp us raise vital funds for these important organisations by joining us to enjoy The Three Musketeers\, performed by outdoor theatre specialists Illyria. \nAll for One – and One for All! Set in 17th century France at war\, this production is a whirlwind of excitement\, broad comedy and ingenious storytelling. Romance. Intrigue. Betrayal. Revenge. Dumas’s classic has the lot! \nYoung D’Artagnan is desperate to join Athos\, Porthos and Aramis as an elite Musketeer of the King’s Guard. To prove himself he plunges headlong into a thrilling adventure to retrieve the Queen’s jewels\, restore Her Majesty’s honour\, survive the machinations of Cardinal Richelieu and cross swords with the deadliest of femmes fatales Milady de Winter. \nStaged in the gardens of the historic Elizabethan Manor Farm\, it’s a truly special setting for this popular annual occasion. \nGates open at 4pm\, with the performance starting at 5pm. Performance time is 2 hours plus a 20-minute interval. \nBring your own seating\, grab some friends and we’ll do the rest. We offer a licensed bar\, tea\, coffee\, brownies and ice cream for sale (cash or card).
