DESCRIPTION:Village Boys is a new weekly mentoring group at The Village Frome for boys aged 8–12. \nLed by Luke and Rob\, the group offers boys the chance to spend regular time with trusted male mentors\, build strong relationships and become part of a community where they are known\, needed and trusted. \nDays are rooted in the land and shaped around practical skills\, real responsibility\, adventure and contribution. The boys will build and make\, use tools\, cook over fire\, grow food\, explore the woods\, care for the land and take on real jobs that matter. \nAs the group develops there will also be adventures\, expeditions and rites of passage\, with the intention that this becomes something the boys grow with over time rather than simply another weekly activity. \nAt the heart of Village Boys is the opportunity for boys to experience healthy masculinity through relationship: spending time alongside good men and seeing how they work\, listen\, lead\, care and contribute. \nThursdays\, 10am–3pm\, term time \nAges 8–12\n£40 per session \nStarting September at The Village\, Frome. \nTo register your interest\, email villagefrome@gmail.com or visit thevillagefrome.co.uk.

DESCRIPTION:Frome Museum’s 60th Anniversary Exhibition traces the development of the museum from its early days on Church Steps\, through its subsequent premises in Wine Street\, to its present iconic listed building on North Parade. We also cover the North Parade building\, built in 1859 for the Frome Literary and Scientific Institution. The exhibition includes a selection of early Lit & Sci archives that have never previously been displayed.

DESCRIPTION:Village Boys is a new weekly mentoring group at The Village Frome for boys aged 8–12. \nLed by Luke and Rob\, the group offers boys the chance to spend regular time with trusted male mentors\, build strong relationships and become part of a community where they are known\, needed and trusted. \nDays are rooted in the land and shaped around practical skills\, real responsibility\, adventure and contribution. DESCRIPTION:Join us for pumpkin picking at Palette and Pasture\, Pyle Farm\, Frome\, at our ten acre pumpkin patch with a wide variety of pumpkins to pick. \nYou will need to pre-book for weekends throughout October\, but during half term (26 – 31 October) no booking is required – you can simply turn up and pay on entry. \nEntry to the pumpkin patch is priced at £1 per person. You need a ticket for every adult and child aged 3 years and older to enter into the pumpkin patch on the weekends where pre-booking is advertised. You will have up to 2 hrs in the pumpkin patch. We are a dog friendly venue. \nYou are welcome to pick as many pumpkins as you like. \nWheelbarrows will be available for you to borrow on the day (subject to availability) \nThe ice cream parlour will be providing refreshments alongside the pumpkin patch open times. \nInflatables will be Open alongside the pumpkin patch open times (weather dependant) \nPlease remember to dress accordingly to the weather and remember your wellies!
