DESCRIPTION:This youth club is suitable for those aged 14 – 16. \nJoin us at the farm for fire building\, pond dipping\, tree planting\, creating wildlife habitats\, checking for snakes (yes\, we have snakes) or whatever you want to do that day. If the sun is shining and you want just enjoy it then do! If you want to hang out in the orchard with the sheep\, building dens and bug hotels we can do that too. \nThis is a place where you get to decide. The important thing is to be outdoors\, enjoying time together. \nWe meet every Wednesday during term time 5-6.30pm. We can only accept bookings for a term at a time. This term starts on Wednesday 10th June and the last session is on Wednesday 15th July. There are seven sessions in the summer term. Sorry\, no one off bookings. \nWe do however\, want EVERYBODY OUTDOORS so we have limited spaces available at a discount for those on a low wage. A chance encounter brought Kane and Turner together in 2019\, when Turner was searching for a new singer for his band. This tour is a unique opportunity to spend time with Heal’s co-founder and acting CEO\, Jan Stannard\, who will take you around part of our beautiful site on mown paths. \nYou will learn more around the wider context of rewilding\, including the reasons we need it and the benefits it brings to nature\, the climate and to our own wellbeing. Jan will talk about the rewilding principles that Heal follows and give you an insight into some of our plans for the land\, particularly the interventions we’re considering and our plans for future livestock introductions. The group will also hear about some of the changes we have seen on the site already\, including the very welcome appearance of wild-living beavers. \nYou will also hopefully experience some of the varied wildlife we have on site\, but even if the creatures are elusive on the day\, we know you will still find the site a beautiful\, peaceful and restorative place to be. \nYour tour will finish with refreshments in our 17th century farmhouse where conversations about rewilding and Heal can continue.

Join the country’s next generation of talented singers for a programme of both sacred and secular music\, conducted by the award-winning Artistic Director of the Tenebrae Choir\, Nigel Short. Music in Country Churches was set up in 1989 to organise concerts of exceptional music in rural churches and is particularly keen to give concert opportunities to young and emerging performers. Following each concert\, a donation is made to the church to help with maintaining the building and carrying out essential repairs. Tickets cost £20 (General Admission\, first-come-first-seated). Wheelchair user and carer/companion (two-for-one) tickets are also available. Under 18s go free (must be accompanied by an adult). This promises to be a not-to-be-missed concert!

Whether you’re feeling lonely\, overwhelmed\, or just want to see what’s out there\, we’re here for everyone raising a child with any additional need\, disability or sensitivity\, at any age or stage\, with or without diagnosis. \nThis meet-up aims to build a growing community through shared experiences where positive wellbeing\, connection\, shared understanding and finding moments of joy come first. We believe that coming together and sharing experiences in an environment where you can be heard\, builds true connections and makes positive change. \nWhy navigate an unknown path alone\, when you could journey together. Find your FLOC. \nThis is an inclusive and supportive environment. All parents and carers are welcome\, so come as you are.\n£5 suggested donation though money is never a barrier.
