SUMMARY:Northcote – Live at the Tree House
DESCRIPTION:From the frozen highways of Canada to massive festival stages around the world\, Northcote has built a reputation as one of modern folk-punk’s most commanding and road-worn voices\, and this October\, he’s bringing that raw grit and soul to Frome. \nNorthcote is the musical project of Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Goud\, known for his heartfelt songwriting and dynamic live performances. Since launching in 2008\, Northcote has toured internationally\, performing alongside artists such as The Gaslight Anthem\, Frank Turner\, Hot Water Music and many more while building a loyal fanbase across North America and Europe. \nIn 2026\, Northcote is set to release To Cherish\, a full-length album recorded at Rain City Studios in Vancouver and produced by Jesse Gander (Japandroids\, White Lung). The project showcases an evolved sound with contributions from a talented ensemble of musicians including Paul Rigby (Neko Case) and long-time collaborator Stephen McGillvray. \nNorthcote has released seven studio albums and multiple singles\, steadily growing an audience through powerful\, emotionally resonant performances in intimate venues and major festivals alike. With over 42\,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a strong social media presence\, Northcote continues to expand his reach\, aiming for a sustainable international career while contributing meaningfully to the music community. \nSpecial guest Tom Jenkins ended 2025 as the BBC Radio Wales Artist of Year in recognition of his critically acclaimed fourth album ‘When The Coal Dust Settled’ a concept album on working class Wales and the oppression of mining communities\, inspired by his family of coal miners and hill farmers. \nAs word of this album spread\, it would gain praise State Side giving him the honour of being the first ever Welsh Artist to open for Willie Nelson at his Ranch in Texas. \nA story like no other\, Jenkins cut his teeth as traveling shepherd / Sheep shearer\, and rancher\, writing his debut album in the New Zealand outback. ‘Misery In Comfort’ was tracked in Fort Worth\, Texas and released in 2019 gaining him instant recognition from Oscar and Grammy winning singer song-writer\, Ryan Bingham\, who invited him on his tour of Ireland and the UK\, before the album came out. \nNow with four albums under his belt in 5 years\, his back catalogue holds a broad mix of sounds\, somewhere between alternative\, Indie-folk with a splash of country\, collaborating with the likes of the late\, Phil Campbell of Motörhead and Marc Ford of The Black Crowes in various expansive album projects. The variation in sound has led to tours and support Slots with the likes of Bastille\, Megan Moroney\, Frank Turner\, Cardinal Balck\, Katherine Priddy and Kids In Glass Houses. \nPlease note this is an 18+ all standing event\, and the venue is accessed by stairs with no lift. SUMMARY:Tallulah Rendall Only Human UK Tour
DESCRIPTION:ONLY HUMAN is more than an album — it’s an immersive companion exploring what it means to live with an open heart in a complex world. \nABOUT → TALLULAH RENDALL \nTallulah Rendall’s seventh album\, HUMAN\, is a raw and cinematic exploration of what it means to live with an open heart in a world that often rewards disconnection. Blending alt-pop\, electronic textures\, and organic instrumentation\, the album chronicles her journey from shame and a lack of self belief to self-acceptance and love; a deeply personal yet universal reflection on the courage to be human.” A love letter to the messy beauty of existence — to falling\, breaking\, healing\, and rising again. Each song is a prayer\, a confession\, a reclamation of self. It’s an album about remembering who we are beneath the noise; raw\, imperfect\, and profoundly alive. \nhttps://www.tallulahrendall.com/ \nTallulah’s performance includes Sam Walker (drums & vocals)\, David Curtis (double bass) \nAtton=Raon – support \nMulti-Instrumental performer/composer Sam Walker – Sprawling experimental pop flows through soaring melody\, rolling textural beats and pin drop moments held within a world of sound design\, spoken word\, exquisite lighting and visuals. \nhttps://www.facebook.com/attonraon/

SUMMARY:Punk Rock Factory
DESCRIPTION:High-energy\, punk rock powerhouses Punk Rock Factory are heading to Frome this October! Formed in 2014 Peej (vocals\, guitar)\, Benj (bass\, vocals)\, Ryan (guitar) and Kob (drums\, vocals)\, were drawn together for their love of great music. The band quickly began to combine everything we all love about 1990s/2000s punk rock with classic and hit songs like you’ve never heard before. From the epic-ness of Meat Loaf to the soaring power of a Disney ballad\, nothing is off limits to them. \nPunk Rock Factory rehearse\, write\, record\, mix\, and film everything themselves in their studio called ‘The Sausage Factory’ with a heavy focus on digital content. With an online following of almost a million fans spread across the world’s most popular social media platforms (TikTok making up a huge 500k of those) they show no signs of slowing down. They frequently bring friends along to their music to enjoy the fun and to date the band has had guest performances from members of acts such as Protest the Hero\, Bowling for Soup\, Ice Nine Kills\, Mest\, Rufio\, Ten Foot Pole\, Zebrahead aswell as Encanto star Jessica Darrow and many more. \nShortly after the success of their first album ‘The Wurst Is Yet To Come’ the band got to work on their second album ‘A Whole New Wurst’ in 2020 throughout UK lockdown. Consisting entirely of Disney classics with their unique punk rock twist it became an instant success. In only two months the album gained over 2.4 million streams and reached #48 in the UK album download charts. \nNow with four albums\, their first ever live show (a festival appearance at Bloodstock Open Air to a capacity crowd of 7000 people) under their belts\, PRF set out on their first UK tour. Selling out many of the shows including venues in London\, Cardiff\, Manchester and Birmingham\, they brought their passion and party spirit right to the stage\, garnering rave reviews of their live performances and showmanship from all over the country. Now comfortably sitting at over 15 million streams on Spotify alone and 40 million views on TikTok\, it’s quite safe to say Punk Rock Factory have arrived and are here to stay. \nIn 2025 Kob left the band to pursue other endeavours. The remaining members continue to release music\, tour the world\, and bring people together through nostalgia\, a love for music and popular culture. The band to kick-start 2026 played their biggest to date UK tour selling out some of the UK’s biggest venues. Preparing for their largest ever headline show on Halloween in London\, Punk Rock Factory make their long overdue Cheese and Grain debut!

SUMMARY:The Royal Ballet: Manon
DESCRIPTION:*Screened Performance* \nIn the seedy underbelly of 18th-century Paris\, money is king. Nothing is sacred – even love itself can be bought for the right price. A native of this hedonistic underworld\, Manon is caught between twin desires when she falls in love with the student Des Grieux. Steadfast and devoted\, he offers the possibility of an honourable life. Yet\, the riches promised by the world of Parisian society remain tempting… \nManon’s inner turmoil and struggle for survival lie at the devastating heart of Kenneth MacMillan’s 1974 adaptation of Abbé Prévost’s novel. In this signature work of The Royal Ballet\, MacMillan’s nuanced understanding of human psychology makes for an unflinching look into the moral degradation of Manon’s Paris\, while all its decadence and decay are brought to life through Jules Massenet’s score and Nicholas Georgiadis’s designs. \nRunning Time: 190 minutes\, two intervals\nTickets: £18\nFriends of Merlin: £15

SUMMARY:Hothouse Flowers – Greatest Hits Tour
DESCRIPTION:Something amazing happens when Hothouse Flowers step onto the stage – something that has been shaped by over thirty years of singing and playing all over the world\, yet no two shows have ever been the same! There is a sense of musical adventure\, an impulse to reach new heights and depths in music where the unspoken aim is that the band and the audience become one and the world becomes a different place for a while. \nThere is an unpredictable energy in the band that harkens back to their “Risk” days playing on the dancefloors of Dublin’s late-night clubs. They call upon their grand repertoire to create a show that is unique to the time and place. Improvisation can come at any point and allow the band express their brightest and their darkest influences. “Rock and Roll is not about safety or politeness\, it is not about perfection either. It is expression and it is spirit.” Humour is also never far from a Hothouse Flowers night. They do not take themselves seriously however\, there is no mistaking the musical integrity among them as they open up to each other in musical dialogue. \nFiachna\, Liam and Peter are traditional musicians. This allows for moments of ancestral connection. From a Doors-like musical workout one minute\, to an earnest and timeless offering to the memory of Currachaí na Tra Báine the next. A song inherited by Fiachna describing the blow inflicted upon a community and a family due to drowning. This moment and moments like these set the Flowers apart from almost any other band of their time and trade. They are carriers of culture and all of what that entails.

SUMMARY:Jenny Talia: Without Adult Supervision (Plus Special Guests)
DESCRIPTION:JENNY TALIA is an Australian comedy rockstar – a razor-sharp stand-up musical menace with a guitar – and on this solo UK tour\, she is WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION. \nHer shows blend quick\, fearless comedy with filthy original songs & savage crowd work. She’s toured internationally\, supported comedy legends (including her Dad\, comedy icon\, Kevin Bloody Wilson)\, and earned a reputation for shows that are smart & filthy\, with a cult following for performances that feel more like a party than a comedy set. \nWith 10 albums under her belt\, she’s a chaotic mix of quick wit\, fast-paced banter\, and songs. Her\ndelivery can be both ridiculous and weirdly relatable\, yet somehow still charming. \nRunning time: 120 minutes including 20-minute interval\nRecommended: 16+ strong language\nTickets: £25

SUMMARY:Skids & Theatre of Hate
DESCRIPTION:Two era defining artists SKIDS & THEATRE OF HATE come together this autumn for an explosive UK co-headline tour. \nSKIDS: \nThe Skids formed in 1977 in their hometown of Dunfermline\, Scotland by Richard Jobson\, Stuart Adamson\, Bill Simpson & Tom Kellichan. After releasing an independent single the band was played by John Peel\, supported The Clash in concert and then were signed to Virgin Records in 1978. Their first singles were “Sweet Surburbia”\, “The Saints are Coming” and “Into the Valley” – the latter reaching the UK Top Ten in early 1979. \nTheir seminal debut album “Scared to Dance” came out in 1979 which was quickly followed by two chart singles – “Masquerade” and “Working for the Yankee Dollar”. Both singles were taken from the Bill Nelson produced second album “Days in Europa”. The album also featured new member Rusty Egan of Rich Kids & Visage fame after the departure of Tom Kellichan. The band released two more albums “The Absolute Game” (1980) and “Joy” (1981) before splitting. \nThe current Skids line up sees the lineup stripped back to an explosive 4 piece with Richard Jobson\, Peter Byrchmore (Membranes)\, Hernandez (Drums) & Connor Whyte (Guitar). \nTHEATRE OF HATE: \nIn 1980\, Kirk Brandon formed THEATRE OF HATE from the ashes of heralded punk band The Pack. Joining Kirk on vocals were notable punk musicians Stan Stammers and Luke Rendall\, along with old school friend\, Steve Guthrie and Canadian born John “Boy” Lennard\, who revolutionised the band’s sound with his haunting sax lines. \nTheatre Of Hate’s debut double-A-side single\, “Legion”/”Original Sin”\, topped the independent chart in 1980\, and “Westworld”\, their debut album\, produced by Mick Jones from The Clash and released in 1982\, held the number one position for 21 weeks. The single taken from the album\, “Do You Believe In The West- world?” has become an anthem and is still widely played in clubs and on international radio\, as well as featuring on numerous compilation albums. \nTheatre Of Hate imploded in 1982\, with Kirk taking Stan forward to form Spear Of Destiny\, but the band has resurfaced over the years to play some very special shows across the UK\, Europe and the USA. The band now have a settled line up of Kirk Brandon\, Stan Stammers\, Chris Bell & Clive Osborne who astound their loyal fanbase with high-octane live shows featuring new songs and classics from their back catalogue.
