SUMMARY:Hay Fever
DESCRIPTION:*Screened Performance* \nHay Fever\nby Noël Coward\ndirected by Emily Burns \nEmmy and Tony winner Christine Baranski makes her West End debut alongside Academy Award nominated stage and screen legend Richard E. Grant in Noël Coward’s irresistible comedy. \nJudith Bliss retired from her life-on-stage and she misses the applause. Idling away at their country home\, the rest of the family are too self-involved to be a good audience. So\, Judith invites a young fan as her guest for the weekend. But unbeknownst to her\, each of the Blisses has a guest of their own arriving at the very same time. \nFilmed live from the West End\, Emily Burns directs this stinging new production.

SUMMARY:The John Martyn Project
DESCRIPTION:In 2018\, six artists gathered at the Jazz Café in Camden to celebrate the music of John Martyn. SUMMARY:Village Boys: A Long-Term Mentoring Group
DESCRIPTION:Village Boys is a new weekly mentoring group at The Village Frome for boys aged 8–12. \nLed by Luke and Rob\, the group offers boys the chance to spend regular time with trusted male mentors\, build strong relationships and become part of a community where they are known\, needed and trusted. \nDays are rooted in the land and shaped around practical skills\, real responsibility\, adventure and contribution. The boys will build and make\, use tools\, cook over fire\, grow food\, explore the woods\, care for the land and take on real jobs that matter. \nAs the group develops there will also be adventures\, expeditions and rites of passage\, with the intention that this becomes something the boys grow with over time rather than simply another weekly activity. \nAt the heart of Village Boys is the opportunity for boys to experience healthy masculinity through relationship: spending time alongside good men and seeing how they work\, listen\, lead\, care and contribute. \nThursdays\, 10am–3pm\, term time \nAges 8–12\n£40 per session \nStarting September at The Village\, Frome. \nTo register your interest\, email villagefrome@gmail.com or visit thevillagefrome.co.uk.

SUMMARY:Sound of the Sirens – Live at the Tree House
DESCRIPTION:Sound of the Sirens are an acclaimed folk-rock duo from Exeter\, Devon\, whose powerful harmonies\, heartfelt songwriting and infectious live performances have earned them a devoted following across the UK and beyond. \nFormed in 2011\, Abbe and Hannah combine soaring vocal harmonies with a multi-instrumental sound spanning acoustic and electric guitars\, piano\, mandolin and percussion. Blending folk\, pop and acoustic rock\, their songs explore everything from relationships and personal struggles to resilience\, mental health and the highs and lows of everyday life. \nTheir reputation as a formidable live act has taken them to stages across the UK\, Europe and Ireland\, including Glastonbury Festival\, while an early champion in BBC Radio 2’s Chris Evans led to appearances on his radio show and TFI Friday\, performing on the same programme as U2 and Take That. \nOver a decade into their career\, Sound of the Sirens continue to evolve without losing the warmth\, honesty and chemistry that has become their trademark. Their latest album\, The Other Me\, released in 2025\, explores themes of transformation\, loss and personal growth while showcasing a more refined and expansive side to their songwriting. \nAt the heart of it all is the live show: huge harmonies\, exceptional musicianship\, humour\, energy and an effortless connection with the audience that has made Sound of the Sirens one of the South West’s most enduring independent acts. \nPlease note this is an 18+ event\, and the venue is accessed by stairs with no lift.
