Formed in 2014 Peej (vocals\, guitar)\, Benj (bass\, vocals)\, Ryan (guitar) and Kob (drums\, vocals)\, were drawn together for their love of great music. The band quickly began to combine everything we all love about 1990s/2000s punk rock with classic and hit songs like you’ve never heard before. From the epic-ness of Meat Loaf to the soaring power of a Disney ballad\, nothing is off limits to them. \nPunk Rock Factory rehearse\, write\, record\, mix\, and film everything themselves in their studio called ‘The Sausage Factory’ with a heavy focus on digital content. With an online following of almost a million fans spread across the world’s most popular social media platforms (TikTok making up a huge 500k of those) they show no signs of slowing down. They frequently bring friends along to their music to enjoy the fun and to date the band has had guest performances from members of acts such as Protest the Hero\, Bowling for Soup\, Ice Nine Kills\, Mest\, Rufio\, Ten Foot Pole\, Zebrahead aswell as Encanto star Jessica Darrow and many more. \nShortly after the success of their first album ‘The Wurst Is Yet To Come’ the band got to work on their second album ‘A Whole New Wurst’ in 2020 throughout UK lockdown. Consisting entirely of Disney classics with their unique punk rock twist it became an instant success. In only two months the album gained over 2.4 million streams and reached #48 in the UK album download charts. \nNow with four albums\, their first ever live show (a festival appearance at Bloodstock Open Air to a capacity crowd of 7000 people) under their belts\, PRF set out on their first UK tour. Selling out many of the shows including venues in London\, Cardiff\, Manchester and Birmingham\, they brought their passion and party spirit right to the stage\, garnering rave reviews of their live performances and showmanship from all over the country. Now comfortably sitting at over 15 million streams on Spotify alone and 40 million views on TikTok\, it’s quite safe to say Punk Rock Factory have arrived and are here to stay. \nIn 2025 Kob left the band to pursue other endeavours. The remaining members continue to release music\, tour the world\, and bring people together through nostalgia\, a love for music and popular culture. It holds space for friendship\, confidence\, creativity and the beginnings of those important conversations about growing up. \nThis half-term session is also a chance for us to explore whether there is interest in a regular after-school\, weekend or school-holiday group for boys who cannot attend on Thursdays. \nPlaces are limited and booking is essential.

DESCRIPTION:Frome residents are in for a Halloween treat as a spooktacular drone show from local company Celestial comes to the Old Showfield on Thursday 29 October. \nRunning from 6pm to 8pm\, the event will feature a Halloween-themed performance from the Frome-based drone specialists\, who recently wowed millions of viewers as runners-up on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent 2026. \nCelestial is a world-leading drone light show and entertainment technology company headquartered locally. Pioneers in aerial storytelling\, the team use a fleet of more than 1\,000 synchronised LED drones to create breathtaking animations\, characters and optical illusions in the night sky. \nGates open at 6pm\, where before the main event\, food and drink vendors will be serving up delicious hot food\, refreshments\, sweet treats and more\, and there will be entertainment for all the family. \nEssential event information\n\nPlease note that tickets have now sold out. Some tickets may become available due to cancellations – you’re welcome to check back regularly to see if there are any available.\nPlease only come to this event if you have a ticket.\nThere will be no re-entry allowed to the event.\nThere is strictly no parking at this event. DESCRIPTION:On the night before Halloween\, join us in a woodland near Frome for an after-dark wander into the stranger side of the forest. \nWe’ll start with introductions\, a warming medicinal mushroom tea\, and some time to get to know the group before heading out with UV torches in search of biofluorescent fungi and other hidden woodland wonders. \nOnce the ultraviolet lights come on\, the familiar starts to shift. Fungi\, lichens and other natural materials reveal colours and patterns our eyes would normally miss\, turning the woodland into a vivid\, otherworldly landscape hiding just beyond ordinary perception. \nWe’ll move slowly\, following whatever glows\, fluoresces or catches our curiosity\, while learning about the fungi and ecology around us. The evening ends with an explanation of how biofluorescence actually works\, and why changing the way we look can reveal an entirely different version of the world around us. \nNo specialist knowledge needed\, just curiosity\, warm clothes and a willingness to spend an autumn evening poking around in the dark. \nPlease note: this is an observational walk\, not a foraging event. We won’t be collecting or consuming psychedelic mushrooms. \nUnder 18s are very welcome when accompanied by an adult\, but everyone attending will need their own ticket. \nThe event will take place in woodland near Frome. Exact meeting details and what to bring will be shared in the week before the event. You’ll need your own transport\, so if you need a lift\, bring a mate with a car and make a night of it.
