SUMMARY:Permaculture Volunteer Day at 42 Acres
DESCRIPTION:An invitation to spend a half-day working with our team in our permaculture produce garden. Learn regenerative growing skills whilst actively contributing to our permaculture projects. \nThe day is designed to be an enriching experience working with us on tasks ranging from creating living willow structures to building hugelkultur beds\, from threshing quinoa to sowing and harvesting fruit and veg. There will be an opportunity for meditation\, sharing and nature connection. \nAt 1pm we will end with a simple shared lunch provided by 42 Acres (think nourishing soup and bread). Afterwards\, you’re welcome to stay and explore our land or take a wild dip in our lake. \nPlease Note: \n-These sessions run on the 1st Wed of every month\, Apr-Sep.\n-Booking opens 30 days in advance. Fellow bandmates added that “Bennie was an inspiration to [the] band and to many other musicians\, and the entire musical and cultural community.” \nThe dates celebrated the late Bennie’s “greatest wish… that New Orleans culture lives on for future generations”.
