DESCRIPTION:Join us for a joyful morning of singing\, instruments and summer fun! \nLittle Piccolos preschool music classes\, based on Kodaly methods\, adds musical magic to your child’s life. \nMovement\, rhythm games and musical play – learning the magic of music through fun. \nNo backing tracks – original songs written by music therapists and run by musicians. \nHands-on instruments for little musicians: crash a cymbal\, bang a drum. \nA warm\, welcoming space for grow-ups too. \nPerfect for babies\, toddlers and pre-schoolers\, our classes build confidence\, coordination and a love of music through play. \nCome and make some noise\, make some memories\, and make some magical music in the sunshine! \nSpaces are limited – booking essential. Sessions are half an hour long\, book for a 10:30am – 11am session or from 11am – 11:30am. \nVictoria Park cafe very close by for drinks and snacks. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Vallis Farm for a morning exploring how to grow your own dye garden\, what to harvest and what sort of colours you can create with your plants!\nHosted by Poppy\, Vallis Farm’s plant dye specialist\, your time will be spent learning about a handful of amazing plants that can be grown at home – some of which you will recognise – that can be used to dye fabric\, colour journal pages or make lake pigments for painting. \nA gateway to so much creativity\, storytelling and expression starts with your hands in the soil! \nWe will begin with edible ink refreshments and colourful cake\, all from our farm grown ingredients\, in the dining room. A talk going through the basics of natural dying and an introduction to starting your own pigment garden will follow\, then we’ll make our way out into the sun! \nSo please bring hats with you.
