DESCRIPTION:Artfulness = integrating creative expression with mindfulness \n‘Artfulness’ is an accessible process developed by Marina Sossi to unlock our inner genius and ability to create with ease as well as make meaning and connect with others. \nLiving an artful life is a choice to view the world through the lens of creativity. It’s about treating life as an adventure and enjoying the journey. Artfulness helps us to focus on process over outcome. By challenging our everyday perceptions\, we are relieved from the pressures of achievement. Instead we experience – permission to play and remember the joy of creativity. \nArtfulness incorporates: \nGuided visualisation \nEmbodiment practices & simple movement \nTuning into the senses \nSelf expression through a process of mark making\, intuitive writing\, environmental art\, movement meditation and playfulness. \nThe magic of Artfulness is the way it uses simple methods to activate ‘flow state’ and effortlessly liberates the creativity within: tuning into the senses\, overcoming blocks and discovering the priceless treasures we each hold inside. DESCRIPTION:Frome Field 2 Fork are holding another Potato Day and Seed Swap on 15th February\, 10am – 2pm at the Cheese & Grain. \nThe promise of spring\, with a sweet breath of fresh air\, is upon us. Hope and renewal are visible and the excitement of the beginning of a new cycle of growth is felt amongst us all. \nCherished by many\, this annual event gathers gardening enthusiasts\, community groups and enterprises\, local producers and businesses to celebrate local food and horticulture together. Whether you’re a seasoned horticulturalist or just beginning to explore gardening\, Potato Day offers all the essentials to get your growing season underway including seed potatoes\, bulbs\, seeds\, plants\, fruit trees and of course the community seed swap so bring your excess seeds in clearly marked paper envelopes\, and plants\, to swap for exciting new varieties. \nThere are also a range of free activities on the day\, as well as fun things for kids: \n10am – Herbalist Ben Still will host a Insight Herbalism Rose circle  \n11am – Alex at HotSteppa Sauce will share the ‘Principles of Hot Sauce Creation’ \n12pm – Lizzie Haughton and Tom Wilford will facilitate  ‘A Vision for Frome’s Food Future’  \n1pm Networking and Knowledge Sharing with the 5th Gardeners Summit.  \nPre-book free activities here (drop-ins also welcome) or call 07857 437608 if you can’t book online.
