SUMMARY:Menkind video screening
DESCRIPTION:Another chance to see a short video with men in Frome talking about what kindness means to them\, followed by discussion. For men only. \nSometimes kindness can be perceived as a feminine virtue and we set out to challenge this by asking six men in Frome what kindness means to them. The results are surprising and highlight that “kindness” can take many forms and may be called by other names. Last year’s screening to a packed room in The Crown led to an amazing group dialogue in which men shared stories about unexpected act of kindness they had experienced. This is another chance to see the film and hopefully be part of a similar conversation between men.

Our Menopause Retreat Day is an opportunity for pre\, peri or post menopausal women to come together to enjoy time out of routine to relax\, nourish and replenish in a safe\, supportive and beautiful environment. \nWhat to expect:\n• A warm welcome with light refreshments\n• An overview of what actually happens in the body during the menopause and what\nsymptoms can arise and why\n• Discussion of tools which can be utilised to smooth transition including a balanced\n• The opportunity to speak about our own experiences in a small supportive groups\napproach to nutrition\, herbal hacks and the importance of psychospiritual aspects.\n• Supported cold water dip in a natural pool\n• Wood fired sauna\n• Tea and cake and a closing circle \nAt the end of the day\, we want you to leave a little more empowered and ready to embrace your menopause as a potentially powerful rite of passage.
