A late Saturday afternoon interlude in the liminal space between day and evening. Known for blending punk rock\, hardcore\, and funk influences\, featured Lynn Strait as the charismatic lead vocalist\, along with the lead guitarist Mikey Doling\, bassist John Fahnestock\, drummer Jamie Miller\, and later\, Sonny Mayo on guitar. SNOT brought an edgy\, high-energy sound to the late ’90s music scene. The first full-length album\, Get Some\, released in 1997\, became iconic for its aggressive sound and Strait’s raw\, confrontational lyrics. Ottewell’s distinctive vocals and songwriting contributed to the band’s unique sound\, characterized by a blend of blues\, folk\, and rock elements. The band went on to release several critically acclaimed albums\, including”Liquid Skin” (1999) and “In Our Gun” (2002) . Throughout Gomez’s career\, Ottewell’s soulful voice and introspective lyrics resonated with fans\, earning him a dedicated following. \nHis solo career saw him exploring a more stripped-down acoustic sound\, showcasing his raw talent and emotive storytelling.
