DESCRIPTION:Little Piccolos is a social enterprise with 10 years of experience in delivering high-quality music classes for children. \nEarly years music classes are attended by children aged 3 months – 5 years and their parent or care giver. We offer fun and dynamic classes\, taught by trained musicians\, using the Kodaly approach. Children (and usually parents!) learn about the fundamentals of music: pulse\, pitch\, rhythm and tempo. \nLittle Piccolos’ goal is to develop a musical ear\, foster creativity and collaboration\, and make music accessible to under 5’s\, with the voice as the primary instrument.\nRISE Frome offers the perfect venue for our groups\, accommodating up to 10 children\, to achieve this each week. \nClasses are £6.50 each session\, per child for the duration of the school term.

He’ll go back on the road with his Cast\, The La’s and Me tour – undoubtedly with some extra stories from this summer\, when Cast supports Oasis in their return to stadium rock. \nJohn had the best rock’n’roll apprenticeship ever – playing bass as an 18-year-old in The La’s. Forming Cast in 1991\, he sang\, wrote songs\, and played guitar for one of Britpop’s pre-eminent bands–securing two platinum-selling records before returning to the charts in 2024 with the magnificent Love Is The Call. \nJohn’s solo career produced some of his best work and through this summer\, Cast will join Oasis at their sell-out football stadium tour. \nHe said: “I had an absolute belter of a time on the road and can’t wait to go at it again; I am pretty sure I’ll have some great stories from the summer ahead\, as well as plenty of other from my career until now. See you there!” \nAfter a very busy 2025\, spring will once again\, give John time to reflect on Britpop\, the hits – Alright\, Sandstorm\, Walkaway\, Flying and more – in this intimate show that mixes his best-loved songs with wild\, funny\, and tender stories.
