DESCRIPTION:Little Piccolos is a social enterprise with 10 years of experience in delivering high-quality music classes for children. \nEarly years music classes are attended by children aged 3 months – 5 years and their parent or care giver. We offer fun and dynamic classes\, taught by trained musicians\, using the Kodaly approach. Children (and usually parents!) learn about the fundamentals of music: pulse\, pitch\, rhythm and tempo. \nLittle Piccolos’ goal is to develop a musical ear\, foster creativity and collaboration\, and make music accessible to under 5’s\, with the voice as the primary instrument.\nRISE Frome offers the perfect venue for our groups\, accommodating up to 10 children\, to achieve this each week. \nClasses are £6.50 each session\, per child for the duration of the school term.

DJ Chris Arnold takes you on a magical mystery tour of his collection of covers\, remixes and tracks that sampled arguably the greatest band that ever existed\, The Beatles. Expect to hear plenty of reggae\, ska\, latin\, hip hop\, dub\, funk\, house and even drum & bass takes on the wonderful music created by John\, Paul\, George & Ringo. \nThe Beatles Dub Club drew huge crowds throughout 2022\, performing to thousands at Boomtown\, Glastonbury\, Shambala\, Green Man\, Bluedot and more\, and ending the year with a personal invite from Fatboy Slim to his ‘All Back To Minehead’ Weekender. \nIn 2023 the show toured the UK and Europe\, including dates in France and Austria and a Bristol sell-out. It appeared at major festivals such as Latitude\, Isle of Wight and Camp Bestival\, and was named by Far Out Magazine as one of Glastonbury’s top 20 alternative acts. \n2024 took the act global with gigs in Australia\, New Zealand\, Bali and France\, plus a 40-date UK festival run. Food lovers can discover local produce from cheese and cider to vegan cakes and kimchi. We work with Somerset Farmers Markets who curate a section for farmers\, growers and producers.
