Following Tony’s untimely passing\, the band paid tribute to his life and work with a series of special performances titled “The Passage in Time” — a two-hour celebration of some of Tony’s most iconic compositions. \nThe shows\, performed by Bob Catley\, Rick Benton\, Lee Morris\, Dennis Ward\, and Brendon Riley (who stepped into Tony’s role on stage with immense pride and respect)\, were met with overwhelming love and gratitude from fans and the wider rock community. The energy\, emotion\, and shared sense of remembrance reaffirmed the band’s belief that Tony’s music — and the spirit of Magnum — must continue. \nIn the wake of these heartfelt tributes\, Dionne Clarkin\, Tony’s daughter\, began exploring over three decades of Magnum’s archives. Her journey uncovered a treasure trove of material — from early drafts and lyric notes that reveal the evolution of some of Magnum’s most beloved songs\, to four fully completed\, never-before-heard tracks that capture Tony’s creative brilliance in his final years. \nThis discovery marks the beginning of a new chapter for Magnum — one that celebrates the band’s past while looking boldly to the future. \n“The support from fans has been truly overwhelming\,” said the band. “Tony’s music has always been at the heart of Magnum\, and with Dionne’s dedication and the incredible response from the shows\, we know the story isn’t over. This is the next chapter — for Tony\, for Magnum\, and for everyone who has been part of this journey.” \nMagnum are now preparing to share this next chapter with their loyal fans around the world — continuing the band’s legacy of timeless rock and heartfelt storytelling. \nGrand Slam \nBack in the post Thin Lizzy days\, Laurence Archer wrote and performed with Phil Lynott. Sadly\, Grand Slam was cut short in its prime\, with Phil Lynott’s untimely death leaving a hole in the fabric of rock music to this day. \nLaurence went on to make his name playing with UFO but always nurtured a long-term plan to rebuild the Grand Slam machine. And here it is – primed and ready. \nThe new band (Laurence alongside Mike Dyer\, Benjy Reid and Rocky Newton) honours the traditions of the band’s history whilst also looking to the future – classic tracks co-written by Lynott and Archer sit alongside a set of brand new songs that embody the same ethos of freedom\, positivity and adrenaline that ran through Grand Slam in 1984.

DESCRIPTION:Little Piccolos is a social enterprise with 10 years of experience in delivering high-quality music classes for children. \nEarly years music classes are attended by children aged 3 months – 5 years and their parent or care giver. We offer fun and dynamic classes\, taught by trained musicians\, using the Kodaly approach. Children (and usually parents!) learn about the fundamentals of music: pulse\, pitch\, rhythm and tempo. \nLittle Piccolos’ goal is to develop a musical ear\, foster creativity and collaboration\, and make music accessible to under 5’s\, with the voice as the primary instrument.\nRISE Frome offers the perfect venue for our groups\, accommodating up to 10 children\, to achieve this each week. \nClasses are £6.50 each session\, per child for the duration of the school term.

His music has been used extensively in film and television\, and McRae regularly composes for orchestras in Europe. \nOver the years Tom has garnered a reputation as a great live act\, whether solo\, trio\, full band\, or with string quartet. DESCRIPTION:Mashing their own brew of pop-punk and folk since 2013\, the five-piece continue on their mission to provide merriment and moshing to the masses by relentlessly touring the UK and Europe. \nDrawing inspiration from their favourite punk bands growing up\, matched with their long affinity to folk legends\, the fusion had formed. With the driving force of drums\, bass and high energy guitar\, they meet unwavering banjo\, mandolin and tin whistle melodies\, and all stand equally on the battlefield. \nThe debut album ‘Taking Chances’ was released in 2017\, with the sophomore album ‘Comedies and Tragedies’ being released three years later during the first lockdown of 2020. Newest release ‘The Only Life Worth Living’ came out to the masses in 2023 boasting four singles\, including one featuring guest vocalist Hannah Greenwood of Creeper. All three releases were released independently and were produced and mixed by Lewis Johns of The Ranch. \nTo date the band’s UK festival appearances include Cropredy\, WOMAD\, Boomtown\, Beautiful Days\, Belladrum\, Black Deer\, Camp Bestival along with hundreds of smaller UK festivals and beyond\, also venturing into Germany\, Belgium\, Switzerland\, The Netherlands\, Czech Republic and France. \nIn both 2016 and 2018\, Black Water County won their place on Fireball’s ‘Fuelling the Fire Tour’ supporting Less Than Jake\, Flogging Molly\, The Bronx and The Skints. They subsequently featured in Kerrang!’s online coverage of the tour\, received an endorsement from Fireball UK and also appeared on BBC radio stations with the single ‘Rise and Fall’. \n‘Ultimately though\, it was Black Water County who landed themselves a place on the stage with Flogging Molly.. SUMMARY:Little Piccolos
DESCRIPTION:Little Piccolos is a social enterprise with 10 years of experience in delivering high-quality music classes for children. \nEarly years music classes are attended by children aged 3 months – 5 years and their parent or care giver. We offer fun and dynamic classes\, taught by trained musicians\, using the Kodaly approach. Children (and usually parents!) learn about the fundamentals of music: pulse\, pitch\, rhythm and tempo. \nLittle Piccolos’ goal is to develop a musical ear\, foster creativity and collaboration\, and make music accessible to under 5’s\, with the voice as the primary instrument.\nRISE Frome offers the perfect venue for our groups\, accommodating up to 10 children\, to achieve this each week. \nClasses are £6.50 each session\, per child for the duration of the school term.
