DESCRIPTION:Little Piccolos is a social enterprise with 10 years of experience in delivering high-quality music classes for children. \nEarly years music classes are attended by children aged 3 months – 5 years and their parent or care giver. We offer fun and dynamic classes\, taught by trained musicians\, using the Kodaly approach. Children (and usually parents!) learn about the fundamentals of music: pulse\, pitch\, rhythm and tempo. \nLittle Piccolos’ goal is to develop a musical ear\, foster creativity and collaboration\, and make music accessible to under 5’s\, with the voice as the primary instrument.\nRISE Frome offers the perfect venue for our groups\, accommodating up to 10 children\, to achieve this each week. \nClasses are £6.50 each session\, per child for the duration of the school term.

DESCRIPTION:Andy Fairweather Low came to prominence as the lead singer in Amen Corner. The 60s saw them clock up hit after pop hit. Songs such as ‘Bend Me Shape Me’\, ‘Hello Suzy’\, ‘( If Paradise is ) Half As Nice’ are internationally remembered to this day. But if you were paying close attention\, you might have picked up a clue in their first single the magnificent ‘Gin House’ as to Andy’s future musical collaborations. \nSince the early days Andy has gone on to work with Eric Clapton\, George Harrison\, Bob Dylan\, Jimi Hendrix\, David Crosby\, The Band\, Elton John\, Roger Waters\, David Gilmour\, The Who\, BB King\, Joe Cocker\, Steve Winwood\, Linda Ronstadt\, Emmylou Harris\, Joe Satriani\,\, Jeff Beck\, The Impressions\, Lonnie Donegan\, Mary J. Blige\, Georgie Fame\, Bonnie Raitt\, Otis Rush\, Van Morrison\, Chris Barber\, Jackson Browne\, Bill Wyman\, Sheryl Crow\, Pete Townshend\, Kate Bush…… and literally hundreds more. \nNow following a solo path\, his first solo album in 24 years Sweet Soulful Music was released late in 2007 followed by The Very Best Of Andy Fairweather Low which was released in the UK in June 2008 with a Live DVD following hot on it’s heels. \nIn fact Andy has been touring and releasing CD Albums ever since and has built a strong following having now released 10 Albums including Two Live DVD shows and a Three disc Box Set DVD / Double Live CD which debuted in the Amazon Box Set Top 50 in it’s first week of release. A double live vinyl “Lockdown” Internet concert followed and his CD & Vinyl release Flang Dang recently debuted which in February 2025 was superseded by The Invisible Bluesman on Blue Vinyl\, CD & Download. \nEric Clapton invited Andy to perform as a featured artist at the 2023 Crossroads Guitar Festival in Los Angeles and again with his band The Low Riders to open the UK & Ireland leg of his 2024 tour & now the UK / European dates on his 2025 tour. \nA remarkable front man\, a remarkable band. Frontman\, radio and television broadcaster\, author and DJ\, Huey is many things at once. Coming to prominence as the frontman and driving force of the eclectic American Rap/Rock outfit Fun Lovin’ Criminals\, Morgan led the band from 1993 – 2021. Best known for the hit record Scooby Snacks\, Fun Lovin’ Criminals released six albums between 1996 and 2010 and sold over 10 million records. \nAs host of The Huey Show on BBC Radio 6 since 2008\, Morgan is a cherished voice on national radio in the UK\, where he hosts a mix of Hip Hop\, Soul\, Punk\, Funk\, Rock and everything in between to his listeners. \nA charismatic\, authentic\, passionate\, and popular renegade himself\, Huey’s groove is infectious. DESCRIPTION:Los Pacaminos is a Tex-Mex band that was formed by pop star Paul Young in 1992 during a break in his music career. The band originally consisted of six members\, including guitarist Jamie Moses\, accordion/keyboard player Matt Irving\, songwriter Drew Barfield\, bassist Steve Greetham\, and drummer Mark Pinder. They played their first gig at a local pub in Richmond in November of that year and continued to perform together\, growing tighter as friends and musicians with each show. \nAlthough the band was formed as a side project\, they started writing their own songs and it became clear that this was not going to be a short-term venture. In 1997\, pedal steel player Melvin Duffy was added to the lineup after a suggestion from Jamie\, and he quickly became a permanent member of the band. \nIn 2002\, Los Pacaminos released their first album\, which was a collection of 12 original songs that drew inspiration from their Tex-Mex influences\, including the Texas Tornados\, The Sir Douglas Quintet\, Flaco Jimenez\, as well as Ry Cooder\, Calexico\, Roy Orbison\, The Band and Chuck Berry. The album received positive reviews and helped to establish the band’s reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the Tex-Mex music scene. \nOver the years\, Los Pacaminos has faced some challenges\, including the loss of founder member Matt Irving to cancer in 2015. However\, the band continues to thrive and explore the music of the Southwest. Now together for over 30 years and with an unmatched live reputation\, as well as two acclaimed studio albums and two live albums to their name\, they are releasing their 3rd studio album of original songs. Los Pacaminos show nosigns of stopping anytime soon.

DESCRIPTION:In the mid to late 1980s\, The Pogues were one of the wildest and most talked-about bands of the era. They crashed punk rock headlong into Irish Folk\, lyrically ignited by singer/songwriter Shane MacGowan’s brutal yet romantic observations on life at the dog end of the Thatcher revolution. Full of spirit\, in both senses of the word\, there was simply no other band like them. \nWith a full line-up and the pick of the songs from five studio albums\, The Phogues pay tribute to the greatest Irish band that Ireland never produced. Like the original\, the eight members of the Phogues come from all over the place. Also like the Pogues\, some have Irish heritage; others don’t. What unites them is supreme musical skill and a desire to honour Shane’s songs and the band that gave them to the world. \nThe Phogues have live experience ranging from Somerset’s famous cider pubs to the internationally famous Sidmouth Folk Festival. They bring verve\, energy and authenticity to every show they play\, backed up by songs including ‘Sally McLennane’\, ‘The Irish Rover’\, ‘Thousands Are Sailing’\, ‘Streams Of Whiskey’ and\, of course\, the greatest Christmas song ever written\, ‘Fairytale of New York’ – which they’ll happily play even on a boiling hot summer’s Afternoon. \nThe Phogues will sweep your audience back to the days when Guinness was 50p a pint\, the racing was on the telly in the corner of the boozer and there was always an ‘oul fella’ at the bar\, sharing his wit and wisdom. We will then be guided on how to turn that pain into resilience\, giving us the strength to trust that we can walk this path that we have laid down again and again\, in the days\, weeks\, and years that will follow. DESCRIPTION:The Emerald Dawn are a multi-instrumentalist\, symphonic art-rock quartet known for their cinematic\, atmospheric\, and emotionally powerful sound. Blending elements of rock\, classical music\, jazz\, folk\, and world music\, the band creates richly textured compositions that are both epic and intimate\, experimental yet deeply melodic. Their music often feels like a soundtrack—painting vivid images\, telling stories\, and taking listeners on immersive musical journeys. \nOriginally formed in Edinburgh in 2010 as a duo by Tree Stewart (keyboards\, flute\, 12-string acoustic guitar\, Roli Seaboard\, HandSonic\, vocals) and Ally Carter (guitar\, saxophones\, keyboards)\, the band relocated to St Ives\, Cornwall in 2011 and expanded their line-up with drummer Tom Jackson. The current incarnation was completed in 2018 with the addition of David Greenaway on basses\, bringing further depth and dynamic range to the band’s sound. \nThe Emerald Dawn have built a strong reputation on the live circuit\, performing extensively across the UK\, headlining multiple festivals\, and appearing at the prestigious ArtRock Festival in Germany. Their performances are celebrated for their intensity\, musicianship\, and immersive atmosphere. \nTo date\, the band have released six critically acclaimed studio albums and received numerous awards\, establishing themselves as a significant force in modern UK progressive and art rock. Their latest release\, The Land\, the Sea\, the Air (Volume I)\, launched to widespread acclaim in October.
