Learn regenerative growing skills whilst actively contributing to our permaculture projects. \nThe day is designed to be an enriching experience working with us on tasks ranging from creating living willow structures to building hugelkultur beds\, from threshing quinoa to sowing and harvesting fruit and veg. There will be an opportunity for meditation\, sharing and nature connection. \nAt 1pm we will end with a simple shared lunch provided by 42 Acres (think nourishing soup and bread). Afterwards\, you’re welcome to stay and explore our land or take a wild dip in our lake. \nPlease Note: \n-These sessions run on the 1st Wed of every month\, Apr-Sep.\n-Booking opens 30 days in advance. SUMMARY:Permaculture Volunteer Day at 42 Acres
DESCRIPTION:An invitation to spend a half-day working with our team in our permaculture produce garden. Learn regenerative growing skills whilst actively contributing to our permaculture projects. \nThe day is designed to be an enriching experience working with us on tasks ranging from creating living willow structures to building hugelkultur beds\, from threshing quinoa to sowing and harvesting fruit and veg. There will be an opportunity for meditation\, sharing and nature connection. \nAt 1pm we will end with a simple shared lunch provided by 42 Acres (think nourishing soup and bread). Afterwards\, you’re welcome to stay and explore our land or take a wild dip in our lake. \nPlease Note: \n-These sessions run on the 1st Wed of every month\, Apr-Sep.\n-Booking opens 30 days in advance. It is not possible to book further ahead.\n-Gloves and wellies/good boots are necessary.\n-Lunch is provided.\n-No experience needed\, just a can-do attitude!\n-If you have issues with mobility please let us know before signing up\, we will do our best to accommodate.\n-These are working exchanges so please be prepared for this and arrive promptly.\n-We kindly invite you to come for the whole session to get the most out of the experience and cultivate good connections within the group.\n-Please speak with your licensed medical health professional if you have any health conditions or are pregnant.\n-As much as we love our four-legged friends\, we can not allow dogs on this experience. \nLocation & Arrival: \nPlease arrive 10 minutes before we begin.
