DESCRIPTION:Lucky 7’s goes on tour! Frome’s community-driven music collective is bringing their good vibes and excellent tunes to the kitchen garden at Vallis Farm. What’s the idea? Bring your favourite 7 x 7” vinyl records\, whatever style that may be – no restrictions\, no limitations\, and book a slot to spin and contribute to the entertainment. There will be plenty of food and drink throughout the day\, including a licensed bar plus the opportunity to use the natural pool and sauna. Vallis Farm has plenty of space to enjoy for the whole family\, so come and spend the day soaking up the atmosphere! \nEntry to the event is free. As we are raising money for charity\, vinyl sessions are charged depending on the time slot you want (get in quick!). *You can book as many sessions as you like\, but please avoid back-to-back blocks. We would advise bringing more than 7 x 7’s just in case. Slots are 20 minutes. \nThe swim and sauna also need to be booked separately. \nThis event is a fundraiser for Vallis Farm Education Centre CIC\, an initiative aimed at improving access to nature and careers in the land based industry for the young people of our beautiful town. Lucky 7’s is a community organisation aimed at bringing people together over a wide variety of music and just having fun on the decks. No egos\, just good times. So come along\, everyone. The day weaves together embodiment\, meditation\, creativity\, and practices that reconnect us with the rhythms of nature. \nThe morning begins with Meditation and Movement with Brij\, followed by breakfast and our Whole Group Circle\, a space to gather\, connect\, and arrive together as a community.\nThe first session of the day offers to choose between Somatic Grounding and Centring with Rui Rodrigues\, Revival of Land-Based Spirituality with Rachel Knight\, and Cyclical Nature: A Playful\, Embodied\, Exploration of Our Cyclicity\, Connection and Remembering as Ourselves as Nature with Support from the Plants with Emma Sampson. \nThe first session is followed by communal lunch and after\, we enter a spacious period of collective rest\, exhale\, integration and being with the land. Another option during this time\, would be joining Rewilding Walk led by the 42 Acres team. \nThe afternoon continues with a choice of immersive experiences\, including Brij McCracken’s Environmental Cultivation: Ways of Discovering Open Presence of Awareness Through Relational Inhabitation and Meditation (Meditation Exploration Space)\, Plant Meditation with Jennifer Gwairocha. A second afternoon session offers a Panel Discussion on Neurodiversity held by Listening to the Land and Vaughan’s Breathwork Session. \nThe day closes with an evening storytelling session led by Michelle Hawkins and A Space for Healing\, Expression and Restoration Through Sound and Vibration with Rebecca Campbell and Nicolette Corcoran. \nThroughout the day\, you’ll have the opportunity to book one-on-one sessions\, including traditional Lithuanian pirtis (sauna) rituals\, hypnotherapy\, somatic bodywork\, massage\, and more.

Through dance\, sound\, and reflective practices\, the day explores the ways we can soften\, connect\, and move with greater presence. \nThe day begins with Daoist Meditation and Yin Movement with Brij and Ezgi Erdal’s integration practice\, followed by breakfast and our Whole Group Circle\, a space to reconnect\, ground\, and move into the day together. \nThe morning session opens with the option of joining Sophie Bolton’s Outdoor Dance session\, an embodied experience inviting participants to connect with movement\, nature\, and the intelligence of the body\, and Nikki Trott’s Sacred Business session\, exploring the relationship between inner alignment and conscious creation. Another option during this time\, would be joining Wild Nutrition Workshop with Christina De Beuklaar \nThe first session is follow by communal lunch and after\, we enter a spacious period of collective rest\, exhale\, integration and being with the land. \nThe afternoon offers a choice between A Sound Journey with Joe and Garwyn\, a sonic exploration supporting deep listening and inner connection\, or Dee Woods’ Tending the River Ceremony\, an invitation to explore the symbolism and wisdom of water through creative and reflective practice. \nThe second afternoon session is Breathwork Session with Vaughan Dagnell. Vaughan is a trauma aware Embodied Resilience Practitioner and Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator\, working with somatic experiencing and central nervous system regulation. His work explores a hybrid of cognitive and somatic work to find balance and flow in everyday life. \nThe day will close with a performance by Jennifer Gwairoch – a musician and spiritual practitioner whose work is inspired by years of devotion to the living intelligence of the natural world\, esoteric traditions\, and the path of inner transformation. Through intuitive vocals\, prayer\, and original compositions\, Jennifer create immersive musical experiences that invite deep remembrance\, healing\, and reconnection with the heart. Welly wanging\, tug of war and a pumpkin lantern competition. All in the name of giggles. \nPumpkin Lanterns\nEveryone loves a pumpkin lantern! Be as creative or traditional as you like and enter the lantern competition judged at the end of the day by Lady V. \nForest School Sessions\nLet the little ones get hands on with some forest crafts. This need to be booked in addition to your festival ticket. \nFeed the Animals\nCome meet the chickens and the sheep at feeding time. On that note\, no dogs please. \nScarecrow Trail\nSet out on a farm adventure to meet all of our scarecrows and learn a bit about their homes along the way. \nStalls & Activities \nOpen Studios\nVisit the our farm makers. Drop in to see their work\, chat about their craft\, and join pop-up workshops throughout the day. \nStorytelling & Live Music\nLet little imaginations run wild with nature based tales and get your toes tapping along to local musicians. \nFood and Drink\nAs always we’ll be championing great food grown/reared locally and homemade here at the farm. Think hearty lamb stew and farm veg soup with a generous slab of locally made breads. We’ll also have snacks like sausage/vegan rolls available at the bar and our ever popular tearooms will be stocked up with delicious teatime treats. \nSee you on the farm!

DESCRIPTION:The Frome Independent is an award winning\, destination street market. We reclaim Frome’s high street once a month to showcase the best independent craftspeople\, designers\, makers\, food producers and vintage traders in the South West. \nThe market takes place on the first Sunday of the month from March to December and strives to be ‘more than a market’\, incorporating live music\, DJs\, street performance\, workshops and activities for children and adults alike on market days. \nThe market is a free event for visitors and has quickly grown to be one of the most significant elements in the region’s calendar attracting over 80\,000 visitors each year. \nVisitors to the market can find contemporary craft\, designer-made homewares\, ethical clothing and jewellery in our Designer-Maker section\, discover fledgling design start-ups in our Suitcase Sale\, have a rummage through vintage nostalgia in our Flea Market or browse indoor plants\, gardenalia and homewares in our Homes & Gardens section. Food lovers can discover local produce from cheese and cider to vegan cakes and kimchi. We work with Somerset Farmers Markets who curate a section for farmers\, growers and producers. There’s also a huge and vibrant range of street food to choose from.

DESCRIPTION:Since October 2022\, Frome’s farmers’ market has taken place at Boyle Cross – the town’s original market venue\, and where we also hold a market on the first Sunday of the month as part of The Frome Independent.\n\nFrome Boyle Cross market runs every second Saturday of the month\, from February to December 9am – 1pm.\n\nSituated close to Cheap Street and Catherine Hill\, it’s a great destination to meet and buy from local farmers\, cheesemakers\, market gardeners\, and bakers. \n\nBoyle Cross itself has plenty of seating and you can collect a takeaway coffee at one of the nearby cafes and come and enjoy watching the market life!
