DESCRIPTION:Little Piccolos is a social enterprise with 10 years of experience in delivering high-quality music classes for children. \nEarly years music classes are attended by children aged 3 months – 5 years and their parent or care giver. We offer fun and dynamic classes\, taught by trained musicians\, using the Kodaly approach. Children (and usually parents!) learn about the fundamentals of music: pulse\, pitch\, rhythm and tempo. \nLittle Piccolos’ goal is to develop a musical ear\, foster creativity and collaboration\, and make music accessible to under 5’s\, with the voice as the primary instrument.\nRISE Frome offers the perfect venue for our groups\, accommodating up to 10 children\, to achieve this each week. \nClasses are £6.50 each session\, per child for the duration of the school term.

DESCRIPTION:Little Piccolos is a social enterprise with 10 years of experience in delivering high-quality music classes for children. \nEarly years music classes are attended by children aged 3 months – 5 years and their parent or care giver. We offer fun and dynamic classes\, taught by trained musicians\, using the Kodaly approach. Children (and usually parents!) learn about the fundamentals of music: pulse\, pitch\, rhythm and tempo. \nLittle Piccolos’ goal is to develop a musical ear\, foster creativity and collaboration\, and make music accessible to under 5’s\, with the voice as the primary instrument.\nRISE Frome offers the perfect venue for our groups\, accommodating up to 10 children\, to achieve this each week. \nClasses are £6.50 each session\, per child for the duration of the school term.

We reclaim Frome’s high street once a month to showcase the best independent craftspeople\, designers\, makers\, food producers and vintage traders in the South West. \nThe market takes place on the first Sunday of the month from March to December and strives to be ‘more than a market’\, incorporating live music\, DJs\, street performance\, workshops and activities for children and adults alike on market days. \nThe market is a free event for visitors and has quickly grown to be one of the most significant elements in the region’s calendar attracting over 80\,000 visitors each year. \nVisitors to the market can find contemporary craft\, designer-made homewares\, ethical clothing and jewellery in our Designer-Maker section\, discover fledgling design start-ups in our Suitcase Sale\, have a rummage through vintage nostalgia in our Flea Market or browse indoor plants\, gardenalia and homewares in our Homes & Gardens section. Food lovers can discover local produce from cheese and cider to vegan cakes and kimchi. We work with Somerset Farmers Markets who curate a section for farmers\, growers and producers.
