DESCRIPTION:This youth club is suitable for those aged 12 – 14. \nJoin us for an afterschool club where you can plant trees\, build fires\, cook food grown you’ve harvested from the ground and go dipping for frogs and newts in the pond. Or if you’d prefer to play manhunt in the forest garden? You can do that too. This is a group for anyone who wants to spend more time outdoors\, maybe learning about nature if that’s your thing\, but no pressure. As long as you’re yourself\, that’s what counts. We want EVERYBODY OUTDOORS! \nWe have some spaces available at a reduced rate for those on a low wage and are reserving limited spaces for free to enable this to be for everyone for real so if your child wants this but you can’t make it happen\, then maybe we can. Just get in touch: tamsin@vallisfarm.co.uk \nSessions run from 4pm-5.30 on Tuesdays during term time and must be booked in blocks of half terms. First one of the summer term is 9th June and the last will be the 14th July. No one offs\, sorry.

SUMMARY:Permaculture Volunteer Day at 42 Acres
DESCRIPTION:An invitation to spend a half-day working with our team in our permaculture produce garden. Learn regenerative growing skills whilst actively contributing to our permaculture projects. \nThe day is designed to be an enriching experience working with us on tasks ranging from creating living willow structures to building hugelkultur beds\, from threshing quinoa to sowing and harvesting fruit and veg. There will be an opportunity for meditation\, sharing and nature connection. \nAt 1pm we will end with a simple shared lunch provided by 42 Acres (think nourishing soup and bread). Afterwards\, you’re welcome to stay and explore our land or take a wild dip in our lake. \nPlease Note: \n-These sessions run on the 1st Wed of every month\, Apr-Sep.\n-Booking opens 30 days in advance. It is not possible to book further ahead.\n-Gloves and wellies/good boots are necessary.\n-Lunch is provided.\n-No experience needed\, just a can-do attitude!\n-If you have issues with mobility please let us know before signing up\, we will do our best to accommodate.\n-These are working exchanges so please be prepared for this and arrive promptly.\n-We kindly invite you to come for the whole session to get the most out of the experience and cultivate good connections within the group.\n-Please speak with your licensed medical health professional if you have any health conditions or are pregnant.\n-As much as we love our four-legged friends\, we can not allow dogs on this experience. \nLocation & Arrival: \nPlease arrive 10 minutes before we begin. DESCRIPTION:This youth club is suitable for those aged 14 – 16. \nJoin us at the farm for fire building\, pond dipping\, tree planting\, creating wildlife habitats\, checking for snakes (yes\, we have snakes) or whatever you want to do that day. If the sun is shining and you want just enjoy it then do! If you want to hang out in the orchard with the sheep\, building dens and bug hotels we can do that too. \nThis is a place where you get to decide. The important thing is to be outdoors\, enjoying time together. \nWe meet every Wednesday during term time 5-6.30pm. We can only accept bookings for a term at a time. This term starts on Wednesday 10th June and the last session is on Wednesday 15th July. There are seven sessions in the summer term. Sorry\, no one off bookings. \nWe do however\, want EVERYBODY OUTDOORS so we have limited spaces available at a discount for those on a low wage.
