We offer fun and dynamic classes\, taught by trained musicians\, using the Kodaly approach. Children (and usually parents!) learn about the fundamentals of music: pulse\, pitch\, rhythm and tempo. \nLittle Piccolos’ goal is to develop a musical ear\, foster creativity and collaboration\, and make music accessible to under 5’s\, with the voice as the primary instrument.\nRISE Frome offers the perfect venue for our groups\, accommodating up to 10 children\, to achieve this each week. \nClasses are £6.50 each session\, per child for the duration of the school term.

DESCRIPTION:High-energy\, punk rock powerhouses Punk Rock Factory are heading to Frome this October! Formed in 2014 Peej (vocals\, guitar)\, Benj (bass\, vocals)\, Ryan (guitar) and Kob (drums\, vocals)\, were drawn together for their love of great music. The band quickly began to combine everything we all love about 1990s/2000s punk rock with classic and hit songs like you’ve never heard before. From the epic-ness of Meat Loaf to the soaring power of a Disney ballad\, nothing is off limits to them. \nPunk Rock Factory rehearse\, write\, record\, mix\, and film everything themselves in their studio called ‘The Sausage Factory’ with a heavy focus on digital content. With an online following of almost a million fans spread across the world’s most popular social media platforms (TikTok making up a huge 500k of those) they show no signs of slowing down. They frequently bring friends along to their music to enjoy the fun and to date the band has had guest performances from members of acts such as Protest the Hero\, Bowling for Soup\, Ice Nine Kills\, Mest\, Rufio\, Ten Foot Pole\, Zebrahead aswell as Encanto star Jessica Darrow and many more. \nShortly after the success of their first album ‘The Wurst Is Yet To Come’ the band got to work on their second album ‘A Whole New Wurst’ in 2020 throughout UK lockdown. Consisting entirely of Disney classics with their unique punk rock twist it became an instant success. In only two months the album gained over 2.4 million streams and reached #48 in the UK album download charts. \nNow with four albums\, their first ever live show (a festival appearance at Bloodstock Open Air to a capacity crowd of 7000 people) under their belts\, PRF set out on their first UK tour. Selling out many of the shows including venues in London\, Cardiff\, Manchester and Birmingham\, they brought their passion and party spirit right to the stage\, garnering rave reviews of their live performances and showmanship from all over the country. Now comfortably sitting at over 15 million streams on Spotify alone and 40 million views on TikTok\, it’s quite safe to say Punk Rock Factory have arrived and are here to stay. \nIn 2025 Kob left the band to pursue other endeavours. The remaining members continue to release music\, tour the world\, and bring people together through nostalgia\, a love for music and popular culture. The band to kick-start 2026 played their biggest to date UK tour selling out some of the UK’s biggest venues. DESCRIPTION:Something amazing happens when Hothouse Flowers step onto the stage – something that has been shaped by over thirty years of singing and playing all over the world\, yet no two shows have ever been the same! There is a sense of musical adventure\, an impulse to reach new heights and depths in music where the unspoken aim is that the band and the audience become one and the world becomes a different place for a while. \nThere is an unpredictable energy in the band that harkens back to their “Risk” days playing on the dancefloors of Dublin’s late-night clubs. They call upon their grand repertoire to create a show that is unique to the time and place. Improvisation can come at any point and allow the band express their brightest and their darkest influences. “Rock and Roll is not about safety or politeness\, it is not about perfection either. It is expression and it is spirit.” Humour is also never far from a Hothouse Flowers night. They do not take themselves seriously however\, there is no mistaking the musical integrity among them as they open up to each other in musical dialogue. \nFiachna\, Liam and Peter are traditional musicians. This allows for moments of ancestral connection. From a Doors-like musical workout one minute\, to an earnest and timeless offering to the memory of Currachaí na Tra Báine the next. A song inherited by Fiachna describing the blow inflicted upon a community and a family due to drowning. This moment and moments like these set the Flowers apart from almost any other band of their time and trade. They are carriers of culture and all of what that entails.

You’ll learn the key features needed to safely identify each mushroom and where each is commonly found. \nIn the afternoon you will be creating your own wild mushroom ‘medicine cabinet.’ You will learn how to safely preserve your mushrooms and extract their medicine for use all year round\, in yours and your loved ones lives – for a host of illness and preventative uses. This medicine is often very expensive and our shared vision is to support you to be able to do it yourself safely. Our intention is for you to feel empowered to harvest your own mushroom medicine cabinet and grow your own medicinal mushrooms. \nYou will also learn the ancient technique of mushroom inoculation – a highly sustainable method that mimics nature and produces mushrooms dense in nutrients that are hard to find from other food sources.
