DESCRIPTION:The fourth annual Weylands Wassail is set to take place on Sunday 8th February from 1:30pm to 3:30pm\, in the community orchard at Weylands. From 1:30pm onwards\, a ‘village green’ event will offer family-friendly craft activities\, making willow crowns and wassail sticks. Hot mulled cider and apple juice will ward off the cold. The wassail ceremony will start at 2:30pm\, led by performers Annabelle Macfadyen and Simon Blakeman and everyone will be invited to join them in making noise to ‘wake the orchard’ and ‘toast the trees’ (full instructions provided). Frome Street Bandits will round off the day with a rousing musical performance until 3:30pm.

From 1pm\, pancake dashes set off every five minutes from outside the Blue Boar up to the Boyle Cross.

That’s 8 full nights available for wandering. Teaming up with The Kindness Festival also fits nicely with the overall theme for Window Wanderlands throughout the country this year: ‘Hope’. You don’t have to use this theme for your window\, but if it sparks something for you do run with it. \nTaking part as a Windowmaker is FREE\, and everyone’s welcome. You can make a display in the windows of your flat\, house\, business\, school\, nursery\, car\, campervan\, shop – or your front garden! \nDon’t worry\, there’s no need to feel overwhelmed. Your setup can be as easy as placing a candle\, a book\, or some fairy lights in your window. Alternatively\, you could really get creative and put on a show in your living room! In line with OFSTED guidelines\, children also enjoy dedicated periods of free time where they can unwind and choose their own quieter activities. SUMMARY:Easter Activity Camps
DESCRIPTION:Pro Coaching are hosting Easter activity camps this Easter holidays for children aged 5-13 years at Frome Sport & Fitness. There will be sports\, crafts and games\, swimming included and a free lunch. \nSessions take place from 9am – 3pm from 13th – 16th April.
