SUMMARY:Drowning Pool + SNOT
DESCRIPTION:Drowning Pool\, a name etched in the score of modern rock history\, roars back into the spotlight with thunderous energy and uncompromising power. The band’s unmistakable sound\,\nsynonymous with raw energy and unapologetic attitude\, returns to captivate audiences once again. Known for their iconic anthem “Bodies\,” Drowning Pool needs no introduction. This breakout single propelled them to international recognition\, leaving an indelible mark on the nu-metal landscape. The song’s relentless energy and defiant spirit resonated with a generation\, becoming an anthem for moshers\, metalheads\, and fans of electrifying live performances. \nRyan McCombs played a pivotal role in the band’s evolution\, joining their ranks in the aftermath of the tragic loss of beloved frontman Dave Williams. His powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence breathed new life into Drowning Pool\, solidifying their status as metal titans. Songs like “37 Stitches\,” “Feel Like I Do\,”and “Turn So Cold” catapulted them to new heights\, earning them a place among the genre’s heavyweights. Yet\, Drowning Pool’s story is not just about music; it’s a testament to enduring friendships and a shared passion for their craft. Ryan’s return to the band in 2023 marks a reunion of kindred spirits\, a return to the roots of their musical journey. As he succinctly puts it\, “Just being back in the same room together after so many years… was a quick reminder as to why I considered them to be my best friends in the business back in the day.” \nTheir path has not been without its challenges. “Bodies” faced misinterpretations and controversy\, with its lyrics taken out of context. Nevertheless\, their music has persisted\, embraced by the very culture that birthed it. “Bodies” remains an enduring anthem\, not just for Drowning Pool but for metal culture as a whole. Its legacy lives on\, inspiring new generations of fans. Guitarist C.J. Pierce captures the essence of their dedication: “I’d play ‘Bodies’ five times a night if people really wanted it that bad!” The song’s timeless appeal transcends generations\, resonating with both the seasoned and the fresh-faced. \nDrowning Pool’s return is a testament to the enduring power of their music\, a reminder that their unapologetic spirit continues to strike chords with audiences worldwide. The band experienced a triumphant resurgence in 2023 and with new music on the horizon\, a 2024/25 calendar proving that the demand for the band isn’t about to slow down..\, Drowning Pool has a white knuckle grip on their present and future with no plans to slow down. \nSNOT \nSNOT is an American punk band from Santa Barbara\, California\, originally formed in 1995. Known for blending punk rock\, hardcore\, and funk influences\, featured Lynn Strait as the charismatic lead vocalist\, along with the lead guitarist Mikey Doling\, bassist John Fahnestock\, drummer Jamie Miller\, and later\, Sonny Mayo on guitar. SNOT brought an edgy\, high-energy sound to the late ’90s music scene. The first full-length album\, Get Some\, released in 1997\, became iconic for its aggressive sound and Strait’s raw\, confrontational lyrics. The album received praise for its energy and distinctive fusion of punk and metal elements\, positioning SNOT as part of the emerging nu-metal scene\, alongside bands like Korn and Limp Bizkit\, with whom they often shared the stage. Unfortunately\, the band’s career was cut short in 1998 when Lynn Strait tragically died in a car accident\, along with his dog\, Dobbs\, who was featured on the cover of Get Some. \nFollowing Strait’s death\, the band dissolved\, but SNOT’s impact continued\, and SNOT developed a devoted cult following. In 2000\, Mikey Doling produced Strait Up\, a tribute album that featured guest vocalists from various bands performing unreleased SNOT tracks as a tribute to Strait’s memory. Over the years\, SNOT’s music has maintained its influence within the punk and metal communities as the legendary punk band. In 2025\, SNOT decided to return to the scene with the new singer. SNOT will appear the festivals and shows for the royal fans and the new generation. GET SOME\, SNOT IS BACK!

SUMMARY:Maximo Park
DESCRIPTION:Indie rock icons Maxïmo Park celebrate 20 years since the release of their Mercury Prize-nominated breakthrough debut album “A Certain Trigger” with a special one-off show at the Cheese and Grain. \nThe Mercury Prize-nominated record\, produced by Paul Epworth and released on Warp\, arrived with a trio of iconic singles in ‘Apply Some Pressure’\, ‘Graffiti’\, and ‘Going Missing’\, each of which still define the indie disco experience for many to this day. Released at the time into a landscape soon to become dominated by ten-a-penny guitar bands\, with A Certain Trigger Maxïmo Park were the bookish\, livewire outsiders\, bursting with punk power\, pop sensibility and literary smarts. \nEven their signing to Warp records – a label predominantly known for its experimental and electronic roster at the time – suggested a band with its eyes set beyond the horizon. Almost immediately\, and certainly in the time since its release\, A Certain Trigger has installed itself as a scene staple\, and a curiosity of the 00s that packs as much power today as it did 20 years ago. \nLead singer Paul Smith says “Not many bands make it to a twentieth year together so we’re having a big celebration\, with a special 20th anniversary tour and by giving a fresh perspective to A Certain Trigger. Our first album remains dear to so many people\, and compiling archive material for the reissue has been like entering a time machine – thrilling\, but also a bit scary! Happily\, we think the music has more than stood the test of time\, and the tour\, where we’ll revisit many of the beloved older songs\, will be a joyful experience for both us and our audience. Playing live has always been at the heart of what we do\, and we still feel the same exhilaration stepping onto the stage as we did in the beginning\, but now with even more appreciation of the moment\, and the roar of the crowds.”

SUMMARY:Jim Ghedi – Live At The Tree House
DESCRIPTION:Jim Ghedi hails from Sheffield\, South Yorkshire and although clearly well versed in the history of folk music\, he stands out as a potential torch bearer for a new generation of respectful yet experimental performers. \nAs his music develops away from his previous records ‘A Hymn for Ancient Land’ (2018) & ‘In the Furrows of Common Place’ (2021) released on Basin Rock record label and his collaborative duo records with welsh guitarist Toby Hay released on Topic Records (2023)\, his sound emulates a more brooding\, dark and electronic world which is mirrored in his piercing lyrics and singing. Here he draws from social observations\, contemporary songwriting\, historical & traditional material. \nOver the years performing headline tours and festivals across the UK & Ireland as well as supporting & touring with bands such as Lankum\, Stick in the Wheel\, Richard Dawson\, Martin Carthy\, Shirley Collins. \nPlease note this is an 18+ all-standing event\, and the venue is accessed by stairs with no lift. Fronted by Jocelyn Si (she/her) alongside Finlay McCarthy\, Charlie Lock\, Lewis Carmichael\, and Jack Martin\, the band channels big feeling through deeply personal songwriting that is direct\, immersive\, and fully formed. \nTheir sound blends electronic production with analogue synths and driving band dynamics\, creating music that feels expansive without losing emotional focus. Walt Disco’s strength lies in clarity and purpose: the songs speak for themselves\, meeting listeners head-on without leaning on nostalgia or comparison. \nFollowing the acclaim of their debut album Unlearning\, the band have continued to build momentum with a growing international audience. Recent tours supporting Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark across Europe and the US\, alongside headline shows in North America\, marked a clear step forward and affirmed Walt Disco as a band ready for bigger stages. \nNow firmly in a building phase\, Walt Disco are focused on developing their live show\, releasing new material with intent\, and expanding their world at a steady\, confident pace. It’s a project defined by emotional honesty\, ambition\, and forward momentum. Walt Disco carve out a space that feels entirely their own. \nPlease note this is an 18+ all standing event\, and the venue is accessed by stairs with no lift.
