SUMMARY:Remembrance Sunday
DESCRIPTION:Frome will pause to remember on Sunday 8th November as the community gathers for its annual Act of Remembrance\, honouring those who lost their lives in conflict and recognising the sacrifice of service personnel\, families and communities affected by war. \nThe parade and service will begin at 10.45am in the Memorial Garden at the Memorial Theatre\, where people of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to come together in reflection. At 11am\, silence will be heralded by the sounding of the Last Post by cadets from the Frome Army Cadet Force. For two minutes\, people will reflect\, whether on history\, current conflicts or personal memories. \nMusic from Frome Town Band\, will accompany the service\, before wreaths are laid by representatives of the community. The laying of wreaths will be led by the Chair of the Frome Branch of the Royal British Legion and Mayor of Frome\, Cllr Mark Dorrington. \nVeterans will then lay wreaths alongside community organisations\, local groups and residents. For many veterans\, Remembrance Sunday offers a rare opportunity to come together\, remember former colleagues and reflect on shared experiences. There will also be a quiet moment during the service when members of the public are invited to come forward and pay their respects.

The species is vanishing from the South. \n21st October Films\nFILM 1 – A FOOD STORY: There is a place in Tenerife where humans and animals sustain themselves with a simple yet extraordinary resource: food waste. They collect\, segregate\, cook\, store\, and create compost from it\, by sustaining up to 40 people and 400 animals each day using just the waste from a single supermarket\nFILM 2 – INTO THE WILD: INTO THE WILD explores the American West and its unique ecosystems\, where iconic species such as mustangs and coyotes are under threat.
