DESCRIPTION:An invitation to spend a half-day working with our team in our permaculture produce garden. Learn regenerative growing skills whilst actively contributing to our permaculture projects. \nThe day is designed to be an enriching experience working with us on tasks ranging from creating living willow structures to building hugelkultur beds\, from threshing quinoa to sowing and harvesting fruit and veg. There will be an opportunity for meditation\, sharing and nature connection. \nAt 1pm we will end with a simple shared lunch provided by 42 Acres (think nourishing soup and bread). Afterwards\, you’re welcome to stay and explore our land or take a wild dip in our lake. \nPlease Note: \n-These sessions run on the 1st Wed of every month\, Apr-Sep.\n-Booking opens 30 days in advance. It is not possible to book further ahead.\n-Gloves and wellies/good boots are necessary.\n-Lunch is provided.\n-No experience needed\, just a can-do attitude!\n-If you have issues with mobility please let us know before signing up\, we will do our best to accommodate.\n-These are working exchanges so please be prepared for this and arrive promptly.\n-We kindly invite you to come for the whole session to get the most out of the experience and cultivate good connections within the group.\n-Please speak with your licensed medical health professional if you have any health conditions or are pregnant.\n-As much as we love our four-legged friends\, we can not allow dogs on this experience. \nLocation & Arrival: \nPlease arrive 10 minutes before we begin. It’s easy to spend so much time looking after everyone else that you forget to look after yourself.\nSinging Mamas is a warm\, welcoming wellbeing singing group where you can come exactly as you are. No auditions\, no performances and absolutely no singing experience needed.\nTogether we’ll sing simple\, uplifting songs from around the world\, learning everything by ear in a relaxed and supportive space. Singing has been shown to reduce stress\, lift mood\, regulate the nervous system and help us feel more connected to ourselves and each other.\nBabies and young children are very welcome. They can play\, feed\, nap\, wander around or join in however they like. There is no expectation for little ones to sit still or be quiet.\nAfter an hour of singing\, we stay for tea\, cake and conversation\, because community matters just as much as the singing.\nWhether you’re pregnant\, a new mum\, have toddlers\, school-aged children or simply long for connection with other women\, you’ll find a place here.\nCome for the singing.\nLeave feeling lighter\, calmer and connected. \nWhat to expect: \n\nOne hour of joyful\, relaxed singing\nTea\, cake and conversation afterwards\nA friendly\, supportive community\nA space where both you and your child are welcome exactly as you are\nYou don’t need a good singing voice\nYou just need to come.
