DESCRIPTION:This youth club is suitable for those aged 12 – 14. \nJoin us for an afterschool club where you can plant trees\, build fires\, cook food grown you’ve harvested from the ground and go dipping for frogs and newts in the pond. Or if you’d prefer to play manhunt in the forest garden? You can do that too. This is a group for anyone who wants to spend more time outdoors\, maybe learning about nature if that’s your thing\, but no pressure. As long as you’re yourself\, that’s what counts. We want EVERYBODY OUTDOORS! \nWe have some spaces available at a reduced rate for those on a low wage and are reserving limited spaces for free to enable this to be for everyone for real so if your child wants this but you can’t make it happen\, then maybe we can. Just get in touch: tamsin@vallisfarm.co.uk \nSessions run from 4pm-5.30 on Tuesdays during term time and must be booked in blocks of half terms. First one of the summer term is 9th June and the last will be the 14th July. No one offs\, sorry.

If the sun is shining and you want just enjoy it then do! If you want to hang out in the orchard with the sheep\, building dens and bug hotels we can do that too. \nThis is a place where you get to decide. The important thing is to be outdoors\, enjoying time together. \nWe meet every Wednesday during term time 5-6.30pm. We can only accept bookings for a term at a time. This term starts on Wednesday 10th June and the last session is on Wednesday 15th July. There are seven sessions in the summer term. Sorry\, no one off bookings. \nWe do however\, want EVERYBODY OUTDOORS so we have limited spaces available at a discount for those on a low wage. We’ll discover just how rich the habitats are along the river\, throughout the town\, and how they’re improving due to the conservation work currently going on from human and beaver help. \nThis event is for all those interested in learning more about our town’s amazing wealth of wildlife and for all ages and levels of experience. To make your walk as pleasant as possible\, wear sturdy boots and comfortable clothes. Bring a water bottle\, a snack and a pair of binoculars\, if you have one.
