Write a message to go alongside your tree telling people about your organisation/business or simply a Christmas message. \nAny kind of tree welcome… traditional\, real\, artificial\, eco\, be as creative as you like. Their eponymous 10 song debut album was released in 2012 and pronounced both “brilliant” and “a big hearted ferocious triumph” by the music press who also commented that although it’s stamped with Steve’s inimitable style\,  it’s also very different to Iron Maiden so fans will be in for a whole new experience seeing and hearing the songs live – a trademark that was continued to glorious effect with the release of The Burning in 2020\, which was spearheaded by three epicsingles: Spit Fire\, Lightning\, and The Burning. \nThe band has undertaken a relentless touring schedule since\, including shows in Europe\, Canada\, North and South America\, Mexico\, Australia\, New Zealand and Japan. \nBritish Lion are: \nRichard Taylor – vocalist\nDavid Hawkins – guitar\nGrahame Leslie – guitar\nSteve Harris – bass & keyboards\nSimon Dawson – drums \nAccording to Harris\, the decision to embark upon his first-ever side-project was strictly down to the raw talent of the musicians involved. \n“It’s taken years for this to come together\,” he says. “Originally vocalist Richard Taylor and guitarist Grahame Leslie sent me a tape – that should show you how long ago this was. I was just impressed and decided to help them a bit and it went from there. I thought the songs were so strong it’d be a crime if it they didn’t see the light of day.”

Directed by Yousef Al-Helou\, the film (which lasts 50 minutes) captures the beauty and resilience of Gaza’s residents before its destruction. Shot in July 2023\, it serves as an archive of Gaza’s cultural\, social\, and recreational life\, showcasing ordinary moments like children playing and families enjoying the beach. The film\, which premiered in London in February 2025\, highlights the impact of the ongoing conflict on the community in Gaza. \nThe film will be shown at 7pm. This will be preceded by a Middle Eastern themed buffet at 6:30pm. Following the screening there will be a Q&A with the director. Admission is £10\, payable on the door.
