Author talk and book signing – James Aitcheson The Harrowing – at Warminster Library

On Saturday 3rd December historian and author James Aitcheson will be discussing 1066 and the Norman Conquest – the most significant turning-point in British history – as he introduces his latest novel, The Harrowing, at Warminster Library. (Please find poster attached).

Named by The Times as the Book of the Month for July, the novel is the tale of five English refugees who band together for survival as they flee the devastation of their homeland during an especially brutal episode of the Conquest known as the Harrying of the North. Each of the refugees has their own story; each is burdened by a dark secret from their past.

A remarkable and moving novel of redemption, The Harrowing confirms Aitcheson as a master storyteller.

The talk will begin at 2pm and will be followed by a question and answer session and book signing with the opportunity to purchase a copy of The Harrowing.

FREE tickets can be booked by contacting Warminster Library 01985 216022
