Beekeeping Taster Session

Come along and explore the wonders of the honey bee. See inside a working beehive. Identify Workers, Drones and hopefully the Queen bee. See developing bees in the comb as well as stored honey and pollen. You might even see the famous waggle dance! Bee-suit and gloves provided but please wear wellies. Meet at Frome Library. Visitors may be taken on a short car journey to nearby apiary. Minimum age 14. Not suitable to those who suffer with allergies to bee stings. All profits from this event will go to Bees for Development.
